Advanced Installer 17.1.2 Release Notes

On June 17th, 2020 Caphyon Ltd. announced the release of Advanced Installer 17.1.2 in Free, Professional, Enterprise and Architect editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.

Advanced Installer 17.1.2 is a maintenance release for Advanced Installer 17.1 delivering the following bug fixes and improvements:

Bug fixes
  • PowerShell script custom actions failed when setting an MSI property to a non initialized variable
  • The "Platform" option for an Inline PowerShell custom action was not correctly saved
  • "Import Repackaging Results" wizard failed for certain projects
  • Visiting the Visual Assets or Package Information views incorrectly marked the project as modified
