I think it would be much easier to use our predefined support for "Prerequisites". To do so, you can go to "Prerequisites" page and select the Visual C++ Redistributable package that you need from the predefined list.I want install c++ redistributables as a prerequisite to my MSI package, using advanced installer custom action.
