Repackaging and testing in VMs is a lot more easier with the latest support for VM profiles from Advanced Installer.

Your installation package can start, stop or delete Win32 services that exist on the machine. It is not required for the service to be installed
by the package itself.

Backup your config XML files, it will save you a lot of time on support if an installation fails.
