Installer Temp File Not Clearing

Hi

We've encountered an issue with our application's setup while using Advanced Installer (currently version 20.9.1). Upon installation, the setup extracts certain files to the AppData/Roaming/Meritech folder. However, during the uninstallation process, this temporary data is not consistently cleared, resulting in residual files being left behind.

This issue occurs intermittently across different versions of our application, despite our efforts to upgrade Advanced Installer from version 16.1 to the latest release.

Attached is a screenshot illustrating the problem for your reference.

We would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide in resolving this matter. Please let us know if you require any further information from our end.

Hello and welcome to our forums,

Can you please let us know if you are able to reproduce this issue with v21.4 or our latest version? We had a similar issue that was fixed in v21.4 (The extraction folder was not removed after installation when using a multilingual package on Windows Server 2022).

If you can still reproduce this issue, can you please send us by email to support at advancedinstaller dot com the following resources:

1. the .AIP (setup project) file
2. a download link for your setup package
3. the build number and version of the machine's operating system where you can reproduce this
4. the Windows display language of the OS.
