Handle JRE's like synchronized folders

Thu Oct 06, 2022 8:34 am

Would it be possible that advanced installer handles jre's via the synchronized folder feature?

What i mean is that synchronized folders are computed during the build phase (if you click on 'build').

This would make it easier to switch between jre's, which is rather cumbersome at the moment for my usecase.

You always have to switch in the gui, select another directory which contains a valid jre, then change it back.

Also I don't really understand why you would differentiate between 32 bit / 64 bit jre's? I think the user should know which JRE is the right one for his application and just selects the one he needs.

Finally (I'm sorry  ) it would be also nice if one could use different jre's for each Java Application.

I just realized I can just mark the jre64 folder as synchronized folder and there you go.
