It would be helpful at times to have the advanced installer version printed somewhere in the detailed installer log. We use install logging a lot at customer sites and a quick way to see what AI version it was built with would be helpful.

In order to achieve this, you could follow the steps presented in our "How to write a specific event in the log" article.

However, I am not aware of any method you can do that programmatically. To make this work, you may need to change the message displayed in the log (to change the version displayed in the log everytime you are upgrading).

I will further forward this to the development team and see if something can be done in this matter and will let you know of the results. However, I can not give you any estimation as for the moment.
