Install AdvInstaller to a specific folder.

The installer for Advanced Installer does not allow me to install to a specific folder. So every update installs to a different folder (such as C:\Program Files (x86)\Caphyon\Advanced Installer 21.3.1). This breaks our CI/CD as it cannot find the new folder. Ho can I install AI to a specific folder such as C:\Program Files (x86)\Caphyon\Advanced Installer?

Hello and welcome to our forums,

The ProductVersion is added just in case you plan to have multiple version of Advanced Installer installed.

If you want to change the installation folder, you can simply do so from the installation wizard.

First of all, we have to use the "Configure" option.

Then we need to remove the version from the path:

and then the installation folder should no longer contain the version:
