I'm a developer who's had little experience creating installs. When a project came up recently that required a fairly complex install (checking for existing files, check for updates, registry, etc), I checked the usual big names in installer software. I couldn't believe how expensive they were. We don't do a lot of these type of projects and needed something we could get running fairly quickly. I found Advanced Installer on a google search and was impressed by the features. We decided to go with AI and are happy we did. There was some learning curve but the forums here were a great help. I was able to get the install working in a fairly short time period and am impressed with the results. Just thought I'd share.
