How to launch a certain application contained by an APPX package after its installation?
The following article uses options that are available starting
with the Professional edition and project
type.
This article will show how to choose which application contained by your APPX package will be launched after its installation
- The first step is to open your .AIP project and go to Application Details Page.
- Add the application you want to launch after the installation in the "Applications" list by clicking on the "New Application" ribbon button.
- Check "Set as Default Application" option from "Details" field
When you will install the package, the above application will be launched automatically if "Launch when ready" option is selected:
If the "Launch when ready" option is not selected, the application can be launched manually after the installation completes by clicking on the "Launch" button":
