App Extension Properties
This view allows you to configure an App Extension declaration.
Application Settings

General
Configure the app extension's specific settings.
ID
Specify the entry point by which the host app accesses the extension category instance, if there are multiple entry points.
Name
Specify the type of extension that the app intends to consume and/or host.
Display Name
Specify a friendly name for the app extension that will be displayed to users.
Public Folder
Specify a folder that the instance declares as the location where a host can have read access to files through a broker.
Description
Specify the description of the app extension.
Properties
In this field, you can enter XML code that represents custom, extension-specific information that is simply stored and not read by the operating system. The information is only read by the host app.
