File Type Filters Tab

In this tab you can specify which file types will be excluded during the capture process.

Exclude Files with Attributes

Specify the attributes for those files which will be excluded. You have the following options:

  • Read Only
  • System
  • Hidden
  • Compressed
  • Archive
  • Temporary

NoteA file or folder will be excluded during installation capture if it has at least one of the specified flags above.

Warning!Note that by checking the "Archive" flag you can risk to exclude too many files, because the operating system will automatically set this flag on some files.

Exclude Files with Extensions

Specify the extensions of the files that should be disregarded during the installation capture. This operation can also be performed dynamically from the Files and Folders page.
